Education decisions made by State and Local governments have lifelong impact on economic opportunities

State governments make decisions about Medicaid programs and access to healthcare

Govenors and Mayors make many of the decisions that impact daily life during the Covid-19 pandemic

Governors, State Legislators, Mayors and Sheriffs all impact policing regulations

Every elected official's decisions can have an impact on racial equality from federal to state to local, even school board.

ABOUT US >

WhoMakesChange.org was created to provide information about which decision-makers in government impact the important issues of today to empower young voters to make choices and have their voices heard. State and local elected officials have the power to enact change on many issues.  Your vote in these local elections is what will drive change.  Turnout for local elections tends to be much lower than federal elections even though local officials are often the ones who have the greatest impact on your life.
